Tone Deaf

This work started from a simple observation that became increasingly complex. Perhaps because we came from different regions, we say the same things but somehow seem to speak a different language. Often we find ourselves arguing the same side of an issue without initially knowing it. The semantics of our communication frequently gets in the way of our dialog. This seems to be true outside of ourselves as well. This work questions what it means to have a voice within a larger context, and to what extent it can be heard.
